The Scagliola is a mixture of ecological materials such as lime, silica, animal glues, pigments, waxes and natural oils. Usually it is polished and waxed with different treatments and all these techniques manage to  make appear all the different marble and precious stones veins.
With Scagliola, the surface is usually polished and shiny but with different techniques you can also obtain matte and satin surfaces.

Where to apply:

The Scagliola technique uses universal materials that can be applied on all interiors’ surfaces: walls, floors, ceilings, ornaments etc. This technique gives the possibility to personalize each one of these surfaces.
